This cream has all the fall flavors you crave.
Perfect for your favorite fall desserts. The cinnamon makes this cream absolutely perfect for serving with chocolate sour cream pound cake, homemade apple pie or pumpkin pie!
You only need three ingredients. Everyone loves simple recipes, and this cinnamon whipped cream is made with just three ingredients!
Ingredients
Heavy cream - for best results, using heavy cream with the highest possible fat percentage is important.
I recommend using a cream with at least 35% fat.
By the way, this recipe also works with plant-based heavy cream!
Cinnamon - the subtle cinnamon flavor gives this whipped cream an amazing fall flavor. You can also replace the cinnamon with pumpkin spice or speculoos spice.
Brown sugar - for a deeper flavor, I always use brown sugar. There is already a caramel flavor to this, which goes perfectly with the warm flavor of the cinnamon.
If you don't have brown sugar, use powdered or cinnamon sugar instead!
How to use cinnamon whipped cream
- Pumpkin pie.
- Pancakes. The cinnamon cream is incredibly yummy with my apple cinnamon pancakes and oatmeal pancakes without banana!
- Spoon some over homemade caramel apple pie filling!
- Belgian waffles!!
- You can also use it to decorate your pies!
Tips and tricks
Don't mix for too long! If you continue beating the cream too long, you will have butter!
Cold ingredients! Make sure the whipping cream is cold before you start. This will make it easier to whip up the cream.
Taste. It is important to take a moment to taste if the cream is sweet enough. If you like sweeter whipped cream add a little extra sugar while mixing.
Equipment
All you need to make this recipe is a large mixing bowl, a hand mixer, and measuring cups.
Storage
Unfortunately, you can't keep freshly whipped cream for long. It's best to use it within a few hours.
What is important, though, is that you keep it in the fridge.
If you have used cinnamon whipped cream to decorate a cake, keeping it in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve it is best.
