Pan seared salmon

Perfectly cooked pan seared salmon is crispy on the outside but soft and tender on the inside. This recipe is ready to serve in less than 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lbs salmon filets
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Remove the salmon from the refrigerator and pat it dry with apiece of kitchen paper.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan and sprinkle some pepper and salton both sides of the salmon. This is also the time to add additional herbs, suchas thyme or rosemary.
  • Place the salmon in the pan and fry for about 3-4 minutes overmedium-high heat.
  • Carefully turn the salmon over and fry for another 3-4 minutesuntil nicely cooked. The exact baking time depends on the thickness of thefish, so it may take a little longer.
