How to make cinnamon scones
To make your cinnamon scones, you start by peeling your apples and cutting them into small cubes. When all your ingredients are ready, add the dry ingredients to a bowl and mix them until they are completely combined. Add the cold butter and rub it into the flour with your fingertips. The butter will soften if your hands are too warm, resulting in more cake-like scones. So, if you have warm hands, rinse them in cold water or use a pastry cutter to incorporate the butter.

- 1 stick butter small cubes
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 apple
- A pinch salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 F (200C).
- Add the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and cinnamon to a large bowl and give it a quick whisk.
- With your fingers, rub in the cold butter until it resembles bread crumbs.
- Pour in the milk and quickly knead the dough until everything is combined.
